Experience the real thrill of poker alongside fellow Malaysian players. Tables are open 24 hours, buy-ins start from RM10, and weekly tournaments feature prize pools of up to RM100,000.
From beginners to seasoned veterans – there's a table for every skill level.
The world's most popular poker variant. Two hole cards, five community cards – strategy, reading your opponents, and nerve decide the winner.
Four hole cards open up far more hand combinations. Omaha rewards deeper strategic thinking, making it the ideal choice for players who want a greater challenge.
No waiting around – fold and you're instantly moved to a new table. Perfect for short sessions with more action packed into every hour.
Quick-format tournaments that kick off as soon as the player spots are filled. From 6-max to 9-player tables, wrapping up in 30–60 minutes – perfect for a casual session.
Poker is more than a game of chance – it's about reading situations, managing emotions, and making strategic decisions under pressure. That's what makes it so compelling, and mega8888 has built an environment where Malaysian players can experience all of that without the hassle of travelling to a physical casino.
The mega8888 poker platform uses certified software that ensures every card dealt is completely random and transparent. Our Random Number Generator (RNG) has been independently audited, so you can play with full confidence that every hand you receive is fair. This isn't just a claim – it's mega8888's commitment to every member.
If you're new to poker, mega8888 offers free-play (play money) tables where you can practise with no real money at risk. It's the ideal way to learn the rules, test strategies, and build confidence before stepping up to real-money tables. Many Malaysian players now competing at VIP tables started right here on the free tables.
Every week, mega8888 hosts a variety of poker tournaments with guaranteed prize pools. Our flagship tournament runs every Saturday night, with prize pools starting from RM10,000 up to RM100,000 depending on the number of entries. Buy-ins start from just RM50, keeping it accessible to players of all budgets.
Beyond the main tournaments, mega8888 also runs Sit & Go tournaments throughout the day – starting whenever a table fills up. This format is a firm favourite among Malaysian players because it's quick and requires no long-term time commitment. You could join a tournament on your lunch break and walk away with a heavier wallet than when you sat down.
For more serious players, mega8888's monthly Leaderboard program awards an additional RM5,000 to the top 10 players ranked by points accumulated throughout the month. Every hand you play earns points – meaning the more you play, the better your chances of earning extra rewards without needing to win every session.
Mega8888 understands what Malaysian players need. All major Malaysian payment methods are supported, including DuitNow, FPX via Maybank2u and CIMB Clicks, Touch 'n Go eWallet, GrabPay, Boost, and ShopeePay. The minimum deposit for real-money poker tables is just RM10 – a very accessible amount to kick off your real poker experience.
Your winnings are processed quickly. Withdrawals typically complete within 15 to 30 minutes to your local bank account. There are no hidden fees for your first withdrawal each week – we want you to enjoy every ringgit of your winnings. It's one of the reasons Malaysian players keep coming back to mega8888.

This is the hand ranking order from highest to lowest. Know these before you sit down at a mega8888 poker table.
Five consecutive cards from 10 to Ace in the same suit. The highest possible hand.
Five consecutive cards of the same suit.
Four cards of the same value.
Three cards of the same rank plus two cards of another rank.
Five cards of the same suit.
Five consecutive cards in different suits.
Three cards of the same value.
Two pairs of cards, each pair being a different rank.
Don't play every hand. Good poker players only play 20–30% of their hands. Wait for strong holdings before committing big money. Patience is what separates winning players from the rest.
Sitting in a "late position" (acting last) gives you a significant edge, as you get to see how your opponents act before you do. Play more hands from the button and cutoff positions.
Never sit at a table with a buy-in exceeding 5% of your total bankroll. This ensures you can ride out a bad run without going bust. Set a daily limit and stick to it.
Pay attention to your opponents' betting patterns. Do they always bet strong when they have a hand? Do they frequently slow-play? That information is worth more than the cards in your own hand.
Mega8888 offers free play-money tables. Use them to test new strategies with zero risk. Master the basics here before moving on to real-money tables.

"mega8888 poker tournaments are in a league of their own. Last week I took home RM2,800 in the Nightly Hold'em. The competition is serious and genuine – no bots, no software. The satisfaction of winning actually means something here."
Johor Bahru
"I've played online poker on plenty of platforms, but mega8888 is the smoothest when it comes to interface and speed. Hit a Royal Flush in last weekend's tournament and walked away with RM22,000 – withdrawal came through in under 20 minutes. Absolutely brilliant!"
George Town, Penang
"I was a complete poker beginner – I spent two weeks on mega8888's free tables before moving up to the RM20 tables. Once I felt confident, I kept climbing, and I'm now playing at the RM100 level and have won a small tournament worth RM5,500. Thank you mega8888 for having free practice tables!"
